Position: Project Lead - North Operations

• The primary responsibility is for the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical and commercial aspects of the work safely, with quality and within schedule and budget objectives. 
• Ensures that the customer criteria and scope of work are being met by all engineering disciplines. 
• Full accountability for delivering assigned project scope from Assess to Execute including hand-over to Operations and formal closeout. 
•  Deliver Goal Zero on assigned projects with Focus on HSE, quality and process safety throughout the project lifecycle.  
• Establish and maintain good and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including process engineering and discipline engineers, HSSE staff, CSU Team, Operations staff, Turn Around Team procurement team, and execution contractors. 
• Prepare scope packages for the execute WORK ORDERS and contracts. 
• Manage the execute contractors (engineering / construction / etc.) and will function as the prime focal point for these contractors for the assigned projects.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• To confirm the viability of schedule and budget, conducting any further engineering studies required to optimize the design.
• To be involved in the development and update of the project execution plan including the completion of all the related required approvals by the concerned parties.
• To work as a key member in the development of a detailed project plan for the purpose of schedule optimization or recovery and financial reporting.
• To monitor and control project budgets and commitments and to prepare and share the report of any potential deviations in sufficient time to ensure that prior approval may be obtained for any over expenditure or re-phasing.

Responsibilities:

• Review the contract in terms of scope of work, obligations to the client, schedules, areas of concerns, action plans, prepare the agenda for the kick-off meeting with the client and collect relevant information from various disciplines.
• Finalize the list of deliverables as per the contract after discussing them with various sites which is then submitted to the client for their review and approval.
• Interface with procurement to review the status of procurement activities and take corrective action as needed.
