Shubhankar Samaddar

A visual artist, printmaker, educator, illustrator and designer. I have been researching on multidisciplinary forms of expression, specifically i.e, visual music and used various technical mediums in my work. Having an avid interest in reading, sound and film making. With the use of constant process, techniques and concepts I aim to raise certain generic questions to my audience/students; this is a part of my approach towards an expression.

Spearheaded the Arts Fest by planning activities and logistics, recruiting volunteers and reaching 200+ students, prospective students, families. Organized scholastic event, founded Artist Commune/club resulting in participation in various collaboration of sound and arts. Produced Visual art works and musical percussion ensemble for the School students, created tutorials, designed lessons and taught Visual Art and Design Technology. Collaborated as a team member of the Technology Committee for Blended Learning. Planned, organized, wrote step by step instructions, presented and taught lessons. Organized, advertised, collaborated and ran art shows and events for the school district such as homecoming, winter break out, and staff appreciation. Budgeted, managed, purchased and inventoried supplies for Visual art department.
