Sneh Chauhan

Hello! My name is Sneh Chauhan, and I am currently a passionate and dedicated third-year BTech student pursuing Computer Engineering at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad. With great enthusiasm, I am excited to share my qualifications and aspirations with you. Additionally, I am proud to hold the prestigious certification of Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS), which further solidifies my expertise in the field.

Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation in computer science and technology. My coursework has encompassed various subjects such as operating systems, networks, and IT infrastructure management. These studies have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of system administration principles and practices. In my college, I'm the go-to guy for any Linux Troubleshooting. Also, I am a self-learner and an explorer who like to explore new technologies and dive deep into them.

Having earned the Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) certification, I have demonstrated my ability to effectively manage and administer Linux-based environments. This certification has not only expanded my knowledge of Linux systems but has also enhanced my problem-solving skills and reinforced the importance of security and best practices in system administration. 

To further augment my practical knowledge, I have undertaken personal projects where I applied my skills in real-world scenarios. For example, I have set up and configured Linux servers, implemented web hosting solutions, configuring my very own Nextcloud server and remote access. Through these projects, I have acquired hands-on experience and developed a deep understanding of system administration best practices, as well as efficient troubleshooting techniques.

As a third-year BTech student with a Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) certification, I am eager to embark on new opportunities and contribute my skills to an organization like yours.I am particularly interested in applying my knowledge and expertise to the dynamic environment at Red Hat, known for its expertise in open-source software solutions.

During my academic journey, I have actively sought out opportunities to gain practical experience and apply my knowledge in real-world settings. Although I do not have formal professional experience, I have engaged in various projects and activities that have honed my skills and provided me with valuable insights. Here are some notable experiences:

1. Setting up locally hosted Nextcloud Server to store and access my data.
2. Shell script that automatically configures my Ubuntu server instances to my work environment
3. Universal updater which updates major Linux distributions at specific time period like 12 am using cron jobs.
    

I am currently a 3rd year BTech student pursuing Computer Engineering at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology Vasad.
