I’m Sreeram and I am from India. I work as a lead support engineer at Envestnet, a US based financial services company at its offshore center in Trivandrum, India. I have joined Envestnet a year ago. I have cultivated strong IT skills and technical support knacks along with domain knowledge from various roles that I have worked on in past 12 years encompassing 3 different companies.
Experience
I started my professional journey at Conduent as an application support associate in 2010 supporting health care insurance form processing applications for US based clients, which I believe as the cornerstone of a better molded person in me. As an Entry level job, it not only taught me hard skills but also generic skills, basic work etiquettes and cognitive skills. I performed various duties there. Answering/solving technical issues faced by internal application users, troubleshooting production issues like database timeouts, scheduled job failures, application connectivity delays, configuring application and user settings, documenting technical support information and record previous issue occurrences are a few to highlight. After 5 years of working there, I joined UST (an IT firm) as a lead production support staff at its kochi, india office in 2016 with the prospect of growth and advancement in career by taking up challenging tasks. I have worked there until 2021. The job involved L2 level support tasks and I have carried out chores such as handling user tickets, debugging application issues using various tools, SQL and application code, doing RCA, Raising application bugs, holding meetings with users, developers and other stakeholders, handling application errors and setting up new alerts based on user requirements, provide application training to new users, Handling priority incidents and escalations, sending reports and production notices to users, lead junior team members etc. I joined Envestnet, a financial services company at its Trivandrum, India in 2021 and right now I am working here as a Lead support engineer with production support specifically at Level3 tasks and team management responsibilities.
Education
I did masters in Information Technology in the year 2015 from a recognized Indian Institution (Mahatma Gandhi University, kottayam, India) which is my highest level of education.
