Sri Karthik Avala

I am A Sri Karthik, currently pursuing an integrated MTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Business Analytics. My passion lies in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision, with a particular interest in developing large language models. I enjoy exploring new breakthroughs in these fields and often work on projects to push the boundaries of technology. In my free time, I love coding, building models, and helping friends debug their code.

I have developed a strong foundation in AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision through diverse internships and project work. During my tenure as a Software Developer Intern at the Indian Meteorological Department, I built CloudMapper, a 3D reconstruction system for visualizing weather patterns, enhancing my skills in 3D modeling and image analysis. As an AI/ML Intern at Prodigy Systems and Services, I designed a web application that generated weekly executive summaries for clients using OpenAI’s GPT models, LangChain, and LLaMA Index. Additionally, my Data Analyst Internship at Miracle Software Systems allowed me to explore AI, Python, and various data analysis tools. Beyond internships, I have led multiple projects utilizing Vision-Language Models, Large Language Models, and deep learning techniques for tasks like medical image understanding, essay grading automation, and plant disease detection, further strengthening my expertise in applied AI.
 

I am currently pursuing an Integrated M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Business Analytics from Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, with a CGPA of 8.12. My coursework has equipped me with a solid understanding of Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Predictive Analytics, providing both theoretical and practical exposure to these rapidly evolving fields. This academic foundation, combined with certifications such as the Microsoft Certified Azure AI Fundamentals, has enabled me to confidently apply cutting-edge AI techniques to solve real-world problems.
