Core Roles & Responsibilities

 

  • Project Management Office (PMO) Operations 
  • PMO Setup & Governance - PMO governance framework, policies, and standards for project execution. Project management methodologies
  • Project Planning & Delivery Oversight- PMO operating model, including governance cadence, review mechanisms, and escalation paths. Facilitating Steering Committee and Governance Board meetings — track decisions, risks, and follow-ups. 
  • Financial Management - Tracking Opex and Capex timesheets utilization. Preparing financial dashboards and monthly PMO packs for executive review.
  • Risk, Issues, and Change Management – Tracking RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) framework across all the projects/ programs. Accountable for integrated change control and ensure all project changes follow approval workflows. I ensure a proper documentation of change requests, impact analysis, and approvals.
  • Stakeholder & Communication Management – I am accountable for a key liaison between executive leadership, delivery teams, and clients. Drive transparency and trust through accurate, timely, and insight-driven reporting. Prepare PMO dashboards, scorecards, and communication packs for senior leadership. I ensure stakeholder alignment on priorities, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Resource & Capacity Management - I maintain complete resource allocation and utilization dashboards for ongoing projects. Forecast resourcing needs based on pipeline and delivery schedules. I collaborate with HR, TAG and Delivery Heads for hiring, onboarding, and workforce optimization. I ensure balanced workload distribution and effective use of skilled resources.
  • Reporting & Executive Insights - I produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly PMO reports for leadership. I deliver insights on delivery performance, financial health, and risk posture. I ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in reporting to stakeholders. I Track key PMO metrics — schedule adherence, budget variance, risk closure, and governance compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement & Best Practices - I develop and maintain PMO activities, templates, and checklists. I Conduct post-project reviews to capture improvement areas. I mentor and coach Project Managers and coordinators in PMO standards and delivery discipline.
  • Leadership & People Management - I lead PMO analysts, coordinators, and delivery leads in day-to-day operations. I Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. I Manage team transitions, onboarding, and delivery governance. I build strong collaboration between Delivery, Finance, and Technology teams.

  • Records and manages project issues and escalation wherever necessary. Handles Change Request Process
  • Led cross-functional teams in defining, prioritizing, and executing projects across seven subsidiaries with 650+ employees.

  • I am accountable for alignment between project objectives and organizational goals. Oversee the management of the entire project portfolio, ensuring effective prioritization and resource allocation.
  • I am accountable to Provide management with visibility into project portfolio health through dashboards and reports.
  • I am accountable to Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and alignment on strategic initiatives.
  • I am accountable to Organize and lead steering committee meetings.
  • I am accountable to Lead and mentor the PMO team, fostering a high-performance culture.
