SUMIT CHAUDHARY

Currently working at Havells India - R&D as Polymer Materials Engineer with the working experience of more then 1.5 year. I completed my Bachelors of technology in Polymer Science and Chemical Engineer with the CGPA of 9.42. As a R&D Engineer i am working on sustainability NPD projects related to Bio-composites, involved in VAVE/cost reduction projects, Material Characterization, benchmarking, quality check, Root Cause Analysis/ troubleshooting projects, generating test reports and giving technical solutions to different product verticals. 

I am a quick learner and try to give full efforts with the critical thinking ability,  looking for new opportunities in my field.

• R&D Engineer - Havells India Limited (1.5+ years industry experience) Jan 2022- PRESENT

Working in Havells - R&D, Center for research and innovation (CRI) as Polymer Materials Engineer, driving fundamental research and development activities related to polymer material development, perform experiments and report results, driving fundamental studies in NPD and VA/VE projects, support to different product verticals. Solving technical problems, having good knowledge of material characterization, thermal properties, and environmental properties. Accomplished with various Standards and international (ASTM, ISO) related to polymers. Perform product field failure analysis, quality check, material identification, polymers testing by analytical equipment and chemical testing, and managing MTC lab equipment.

• Intern at CRI- MTC, Havells India Limited Jan 2022- Jul 2022 

Testing & Analysis of polymer samples for quality check, benchmarking and recycling of chemicals using installed fractional distillation. Literature study on NPD and VA/VE projects of different verticals, troubleshooting & failure analysis.

• Completed Bachelor's degree (B.Tech) in Polymer Science and Chemical Technology from Delhi Technological University (2018-22) with the overall CGPA of 94.2 
• Class XII (10+2) from CBSE in 2017 from Delhi police public school with the percentage of 87.8
