I am a graduate mechanical engineer with vast experience in marine engineering fields. I have served as chief engineer on merchant ships. Further developed a career in the surveys, and auditing field and served as survey station head for an IACS classification society involving activities in India and abroad. As a classification society surveyor, I have done many statutory certifications. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to get involved with new construction projects in India and abroad (Norway and china). Subsequently worked as General Manager-Technical with a shipping company in India. I have been with ADNOC Logistics- Abu Dhabi for upgrading their quality standards by conducting audits and inspections as a marine consultant with the designation- Technical superintendent.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Regular duties of C/E, plus updated knowledge of latest developments onboard the ship and operations, electronic injection - ME engines, ECGS-scrubbers, ballast water treatment systems- machinery, and related regulations.

Feb. 2020 - Oct 2020:        Marine Consultant            ADNOC L&S – Abu Dhabi

Worked on a contract basis as Pre-Vetting Inspector cum Technical Superintendent for improving their quality system. Conducted regular pre-vetting inspections, hull & machinery inspections, and management system audit on their owned and sub-contracted vessels at the Abu Dhabi base and Ruwais base.

Organized training programs for attending Superintendents, Masters, and Chief Engineers. 

Proposed standard procedures for the operation of their owned vessels & chartered vessels.

Advised repair works and dry-docking activities for the inspected vessels.

Monitoring overall performance and reporting to the Top Management.
