I have experience with medical billing in access healthcare for past 2.6 years and worked in the teams like kickcodes and portal appeal .In kickcodes , I have worked with BAC, REGERROR, BADPKG and IPN , we check the card image of the patient and adding the insurance package and check the eligibility,check the correct Po box address and selecting perfect insurance and drop to the insurance company or moving to the patient responsibility. In portal appeal we submit the claim through online ( payer portal), paper appeal cms 1500, corrected claims ( corrections like cpt , unit , amount, diagnosis , NPI, taxonomy, provider level correct , etc), denial management ( Authorization , refferal, adnmedrec , grobal , copay , coinsurance , cpt , diagnosis etc.,) and rejected claims . we usually appeal the claim when there is valid practice notes, medical records and corrections , if there is no valid information, we have workflow and we act accordingly.
