Over the course of my academic and professional journey, I have honed my ability to leverage data to extract valuable insights and drive strategic decision-making. My educational background in Masters of Science in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University equipped me with a solid foundation in mathematical and statistical concepts. Combined with more than 5 years of experience in quant finance, I have cultivated a strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python,C++ and Q, front-end tools like React.js as well as familiarity with tools like Tableau and KDB.

One of my notable achievements was building independently a risk tracking tool for Rolls/Single Stock Futures for the trading desk. The tool allowed the traders to trade rolls month over month and trade notional upto $100M. Along with this, I also conducted independent research for prediction of Futures’ basis across different emerging markets and devised a trading strategy with RMSE of 6bps. I am also comfortable working with huge amounts of data and also realtime systems as I built a KDB based data warehouse from scratch for Delta One Trading desks and utilised the same golden copy of the data to build various useful analytics like, Tracking PnL, RhoBorrow Risk Decomposition, Index Pricing and Index Futures’ Basis Pricing. It significantly improved the decision making for our traders and identifying potential negative PnL sources.These experiences not only demonstrated my technical prowess but also highlighted my ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Working at JP Morgan Chase since May, 2021. Joined as an Associate and now promoted to Senior Associate/AVP at the start of 2023. 

Prior to this, I worked at Bank of America in the US as a summer analyst for 2 months and from 2017-2019, I worked as a Quant Analyst in BlackRock. 

I graduated from MS in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University, USA in May, 2021 and also hold a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering
