I am Vidhi Baxi, wishing to start my career, in the field of writing.

I am an avid reader, passionate about writing and photography.

I have a special interest in the Ancient India Texts and Astrology. Writing on Socio-Political issues, Reviews – Movies and Books, Short Stories, Poems, and everyday living.

• Translation And Content Writing Wordstag, Ahmedabad 
  Internship • May 2023 - Aug 2023 (3 months)
  Worked as an intern with Wordstag in Content Writing, Translation and Subtitling Work.
  I was involved in researching on relevant and SEO friendly content, translation to and from English, Hindi and Gujarati and Subtitling Work for the company.
• Was associated with Charkha, NGO at Ahmedabad for five months. I worked as a freelance translator, language English and Gujarati. The area of translation were mainly health and hygiene-medical terms, environment, and of social significance. The reports, articles and flyers were mainly of the well-known NGO, SEWA, working tirelessly towards empowerment of women.

• Worked at a private Graphic Designing firm “Virtual Wonder” at Vadodara, as Junior Designer for about 18 months. Besides designing ads, brochures, product catalogues, etc., I also got a chance to learn and carry out projects on architectural (structural) designs. I got a chance to learn software like Fireworks and AutoCAD, on job. Learned the  technicalities of Product Photography, being an assistant in three Product Photography projects.

• Masters in communication studies (MCS) – with 64% from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, Gujarat – May 2012.
• Bachelor of Science (Home), Major – Home Science Extension and Communication – with 65.7% from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara, Gujarat – May 2006.
