About Vijay Dwibashi:

Over 25 years of experience in senior leadership roles with large and diverse banking companies which include Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Samba Financial Group, BNP Paribas, ABN Amro Bank, Barclays Bank and Deutsche Bank.

Attained significant success in setting up Corporate, Retail operations, Payments, Treasury and Trade Finance operations with proven experience in handling Structured Trade, Islamic lending products and deep understanding of UCP600, ISP98, URR725,URC522, ISBP, FEMA, FTP and International Trade Regulations

Utilised Technology as an enabler in service delivery to achieve business goals. successfully spearheaded technology transformation projects, Core Bank Implementations (FINACLE, TEMINOS T24, PAYMENS HUB, CONNEXIS TRADE, SCORE), focused on process reengineering and automation initiative

Experience

 

 Proven experience as Head of Operations with over 25 years in banking operations management across multiple banking business which include Trade Services, Payments, Cash Management, Treasury and liquidity operations, Corporate and Retails Loans, Syndications and Core Banking system implementations ( Finacle, T24, and Payments Hub) in 3 banks. 

Strong knowledge in operational risk framework, regulatory controls and Problem-solving aptitude. 

Recognized for my abilities to manage large and complex projects, management of large teams, strong people leadership, analytical skills and business acumen 

Represented Group Operations in Risk, Audit, BRCC and Compliance committees and meetings. Served as Group Operations faceoff and liaison to external auditors, internal audit and regulators 

Possess strong commercial acumen and ability to build trust with stake holders 


 

Education

I have done my post graduation in Economics from Pune University - India with specialisation in Macro Economics policy, Public Finance, International Finance and Trade.
