About Vimal Vijayan:

I am a 22 year old highly creative artist hailing from Kerala, India. I graduated in BA Animation & Graphic Design in 2022 from Yeldho Mar Baselios College in Kothamangalam, and joined a 3D outsourcing company straight after and worked there for 1 year and 9 months as a junior game artist. I then left the company to to spread my wings and to further develop my skills.

Experience

Passionate and skilled 3D Artist with 2 years of experience in creating high-quality 3D models for video games and virtual reality. Proficient in industry-standard software such as Maya, 3ds Max, photoshop and Marmoset Toolbag.  Adept at translating concepts into visually compelling assets and optimizing them for performance. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Used to working in a high pressure environment and in all stages of 3D modelling pipeline.

Education

I graduated in BA Animation & Graphic Design, which familiarized me to a number of 3D software, including Autodesk MAYA, 3DS Max, Blender, Zbrush, Marmoset Toolbag, and the Adobe creative suite which included Premier Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, photoshop, Audition and Flash. we also had the opportunity to learn UI/UX and Logo, Branding and packaging design workflows.
