About Vishal Saxena:
Dr. Vishal Saxena earned his M.D. (Pathology) in 2002 from Armed Forces Medical College, University of Pune, India. At present, he is the Medical Superintendent & Senior Consultant Pathologist at Felix Hospital, Noida (India), and Professor and Chairman, Department of Pathology at Caribbean Medical University School of Medicine, Curacao, Kingdom of Netherlands, and Professor of Pathology at Moxsh Overseas Education limited, Mumbai, India as well as Professor of Pathology at Manan learning systems, Copenhagen, Denmark. He has served as a Professor of pathology at Xavier University School of Medicine, Aruba (Kingdom of Netherlands). Prior to that, he served as the Assistant Dean of Academics and Student Affairs at American University of Barbados School of Medicine, as well as Chair & Course Director of Department of Pathology. Prior to that, he was a Professor in the Department of Pathology at Medical University of the Americas, St. Kitts & Nevis, West Indies. He has vast global teaching, clinical practice, and administrative experience spanning more than 21 years across many continents. He has held key clinical and administrative positions as Chief of the Laboratory Services at The Aga Khan Hospital, Tanzania and Medical Superintendent at the International Medical and Technological University, Tanzania. He was the Chief of Laboratory Medicine Department and Blood Bank, Moolchand Medcity Hospital, (India’s First JCI and Comprehensive NABH Accredited Hospital) in New Delhi, India. He has authored many national and international publications. His favorite areas of pathology include inflammation, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, endocrine, breast, and hemostatic disorders. He has been bestowed with the “Most Outstanding Professor” award in recognition of superior teaching and commitment to quality medical education at various medical universities across the world. He is an accomplished orator par excellence, and has graced white coat graduation ceremonies at medical universities as the keynote speaker on multiple occasions. His hobbies include reading science fiction, playing golf, billiards, table tennis and chess, singing bollywood blockbuster songs and stage acting.
