    Description

    Job Title: Market Intelligence Manager

    Experience: 6 - 8 Years

    Location: Pune MH

    Availability: Quick Joiners Preferred

    Mandatory Key words: Market intelligence, Competitive Intelligence, Data Analysis, Data Gathering, Product Intelligence, Excel Modelling, Market Research.

    Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or business preferred. Master's degree in business administration or equivalent degree preferred. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    Job Description:

    Leadership:

    • Establish a sound market intelligence platform as base for Strategic and Operating Plans and to drive fact-based business decisions.
    • Support the mindset shift from role centered around dissemination of information to understand the strategic importance of Market Intelligence (MI) inside the organization and drive insights for the business
    • Leads MI workplan for Atmus and aligns goals for MI team in alignment with Strategy goals and organizational goals and needs.
    • Manages a small but global team of market intelligence analysts who are responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, generating forecasts, writing reports and leading/supporting various projects.
    • Develops and leverages internal and external knowledge networks to build a comprehensive view of the market (e.g. vendors, trade shows, conferences, industry events).

    Data & Analytics orientation:

    Brings a data-oriented approach to building MI capability and closely partners with IT and data sciences team

    Use latest data and analytics tool to simplify, automate and manage core Market Intelligence processes.

    Develops and deploys effective methods to monitor relevant market trends, competitive threats, and other market activity.

    Generates informed, unbiased, and credible market intelligence that furthers market understanding and supports decision making.

    Acts as the custodian for market intelligence data sources and subscriptions by partnering closely with the strategy function on decision making on these data sources.

    Business orientation:

    • Aligns with business teams and acts as a thought partner in support of leadership's decision-making processes.
    • Manages special projects and provides market input to further the understanding of specific aspects of the market to support informed decision making and strategy development. Leverages competitive research and market analyses for ad hoc requests from assigned market segments and regions.
    • Leads efforts to understand market drivers and historical behaviors to build segment-specific forecasts in support of the strategic-planning process and other key initiatives.
    • Champions a culture of intelligence gathering insight generation and value-added support.
    • Partners closely with the finance team to integrate internal and external information to bring Atmus specific insights for stakeholders across Atmus.
    • Partners closely with investor relations team to deliver analysis of quarterly results to support investor communications.

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Sound knowledge of business, risk management, financial modelling tools & techniques
    • Bring a good mix of analytical skills and knowledge of market research techniques.
    • Ability to synthesize data and translate to insights.
    • Collaborative skills to work closely with functional team members across the organization.
    • Structuring skills to organize market data in the most effective way and drive efficiency in prioritizing the most critical data that is needed for the business.
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with senior leaders in the organization.
