    Zimplistic is a kitchen automation company established in 2008 with the vision to accelerate the world's transition to eating healthy at home through smart technology and robotics. Its flagship product, Rotimatic, enables users to make flatbreads with the touch of a button in flat 90 seconds.

    Rotimatic is a modern kitchen appliance brand that is working on a unique category & needs space for fully automating flatbread making process. The product has received a lot of love from its 1,00,000+ users and has grown basis word of mouth & strong consumer value proposition. The product is particularly relevant for the NRI audiences who live away from family and do not have access to a cook.

    The Supplier Quality Assurance Manager will be the technical liaison among the materials planner, production engineering, internal quality functions, product engineering and our supply base. In this role you will work with all the counterparts highlighted above to manage the end-to-end Quality Assurance aspects for manufacturing of Rotimatic at the designated EMS site.

    Please note that this role is based in Mysore. Only candidates who are willing to relocate or based in Mysore need apply.

    Your Responsibilities

    1. Lead, manage and complete the part qualification of the suppliers for the identified products / projects with right quality on time.
    2. Collaborate with key stake holders and drive the part qualification.
    3. Work closely with the Global Supply & Quality teams, Third party supplier quality Engineers and suppliers on the part qualification.
    4. Ensure a quality management system is in-place and implemented in the factory & products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system
    5. Ensure that the Part qualification reports as prepared and validated inline to the Part qualification instructions and procedures.
    6. Ensure the update of part qualification reports in the PLM tool.
    7. Analysis of the quality performance & capability of Suppliers, Drive 8D & support line continuity.
    8. To review supplier's progress on the qualification of new parts using APQP / FMEA / MSA / SPC / PPAP and
    9. Significant sample building for NPIs during product launch, solve the quality issues with a solid action plan.
    10. Circulate Quality MIS every month to all stake holders(List of Worst & Good Supplier List for the month should be one element)
    11. Freeze System/Procedures for Zimplistic Parts so that Quality issues does not get repeated and circulate to stake holders.
    12. Root cause Analysis on RMA machines and MRB parts.
    13. Lean Implementation in manufacturing line – Work on VCP & Cycle time reduction projects.
    14. Responsible for First Pass Yield/Defects Per Unit of the FG unit.
    15. Should do CAPA activity for the process quality and product quality issues observed in manufacturing.

    Your Background

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Production or Electrical Engineering.
    • Should have 10 to 15 years of Experience in Electronics, Automotive, Home Appliances or Light Engineering Manufacturing Company.
    • Must have manufacturing process knowledge and experience working in Supply chain, Supplier Quality, Supplier Development functions in a manufacturing environment or in a Global role.
    • Hands on experience on Part qualifications / PPAP management and its deployment by working with suppliers.
    • Ability to read and digest technical drawings and specifications (ISO documents, FMEA, Control plans, international standards etc.)
    • Capable of working independently under challenging projects.
    • Strong analytical skills, especially with data analysis, experience in developing dashboards.
    • Good communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to network across the teams and to mentor the team members.
    • Flexibility to travel (~20%)
    • Confidence to challenge the over specified Parts
    • Hands on experience in Supplier Quality System Audit and Vendor Upgradation
    • Should be through with Modern Tools used for Problem Solving i:e 7QC Tools/Pareto/ CAPA/Root Cause Analysis/Return Material Authorization etc
    • Should have run Supplier Quality Recognition Program
    • Through with 6 Sigma/3 Sigma Methodologies & Lean Methodologies.
    • Should be good knowledge on product audits ( UL, Intertek, BIS etc)
