    Description

    Position Title: Security Engineer

    Location: Bengaluru

    Role Overview:

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining the company's Splunk infrastructure
    • Managing log onboarding and alert monitoring in Splunk Cloud
    • Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and configurations
    • Monitoring the health of managed assets and vendor configurations
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met
    • Documenting and executing baseline configurations
    • Researching best practices to enhance security platforms
    • Maintaining platform documentation following enterprise processes

    Experience and Qualifications:

    • Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum 5 years in enterprise event log management or related fields
    • Minimum 3 years in application design/engineering and system administration
    • Proficiency in Python scripting and Ansible automation
    • Knowledge of RegEX and AWS; experience in banking or finance a plus
    • Familiarity with system security best practices and SIEM
    • Experience with security and IT metrics; strong report creation skills
    • Pro-active, strategic, and innovative mindset
    • Ability to drive change and problem-solving initiatives
    • Team player with a focus on growth and collaboration
