    What You'll Do

    We are seeking a dedicated PlainID Engineer to play a crucial role in developing and refining access control policies within our PBAC (Policy-Based Access Control) system. The ideal candidate will focus on crafting, deploying, and optimizing policies using the PlainID platform to ensure secure, efficient, and scalable access management across our enterprise systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and manage advanced access control policies within PlainID to meet our dynamic business needs.
    • Collaborate with IT, security teams, and business partners to translate requirements into effective policy solutions.
    • Ensure the security and availability of information through policy enforcement.
    • Maintain, update, and refine policies to adapt to evolving security landscapes and business requirements.
    • Resolve policy-related issues promptly to uphold uninterrupted access control services.
    • Document policy configurations and changes for audit and compliance purposes.
    • Share knowledge and best practices within the team to enhance policy management.
    • Offer technical expertise in access control, including RBAC, ABAC, and PBAC.
    • Act as the PlainID domain expert, providing training and support to IT staff and end-users.

    On a daily basis, you will engage with key partners across various teams, including Security and Trust Office, Infrastructure, Legal, Business Operations, and Customer/Partner Experience teams, as well as Business and Technical Architecture Groups, Product Owners, and Development Team leads.

Your ability to lead in developing business solutions and communicate complex concepts clearly is essential.

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • 6+ years of cybersecurity experience with expertise in RBAC, ABAC, PBAC.
    • Demonstrated experience with PlainID or similar PBAC systems and knowledge of policy languages such as XACML or REGO.
    • Familiarity with IAM concepts, with a focus on policy-based access control.
    • Strong background in integrating IAM solutions with enterprise systems like ERP and CRM.
    • Experience with directory services (e.g., LDAP, Active Directory) and federated identity protocols (e.g., SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth).
    • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, PowerShell.
    • Ability to analyze complex systems and data to develop effective access control solutions.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
    • Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
    • Familiarity with security standards and compliance frameworks relevant to access management.
