Job Title Project Research Scientist 1 (Medical)
Location Kochi, Kerala
The position requires local travel within the Ernakulum district and other sites in India.
Essential Qualifications

BDS/MBBS with a master's degree in public health/MDS (Public Health Dentistry)/MD (Community Medicine) from a recognized university.

Three years of work experience from a recognized institution.

Desirable Experience

Experience in project management.

Proficient knowledge in epidemiological studies (experience in oral health research is desirable).

Knowledge of interventional research.

Experience in conducting population studies, planning, and executing community studies, and intervention studies in the field of Public Health.

Knowledge of qualitative research and experience in conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), In-Depth Interviews (IDIs), Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), etc.

Proficiency in Malayalam Language is essential.

Five research publications.

Age Upper age limits up to 40 years (may be relaxed).

Job Description:

Manage & coordinate multi-centric field studies.

Overall management of the project and other staff.

Convene meetings and write minutes, coordinating with sites and research institutes in consultation with Project PI.

Independently initiate and handle public health research data.

Perform any other tasks assigned by the competent authority or the PI of the Project.

Remuneration Consolidated Emoluments:
INR 67,000 + HRA as admissible.
Tenure for 11 months, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.
