    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct statutory audits in accordance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
    • Perform internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify potential risks.
    • Prepare comprehensive audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and management letters.
    • Conduct business process reviews and create process flow maps to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient and standardized business practices.
    • Identify risk exposure and develop risk control matrices to mitigate financial and operational risks.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, financial reporting reliability, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Analyze financial and operational data, performing test procedures to assess the adequacy of internal controls.
    • Provide support to various organizational and functional initiatives related to accounting and finance.
    • Draft reports, presentations, and Management Information Systems (MIS) to effectively communicate audit findings and recommendations.
    • Perform calculations and file GST and TDS returns to ensure compliance with tax Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
    • Minimum of 57 years of experience in audit and accounting, preferably with a CA firm or a reputable company.
    • Strong understanding of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
    • Indepth knowledge of audit methodologies, internal control frameworks, and risk management principles.
    • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and critical thinking skills.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • A meticulous and detailoriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant audit software is a plus.
