    Description

    We are hiring Senior Data Engineers (PySpark) at Synechron Technologies.

    Job Title : Senior Data Engineers (PySpark)

    Experience : 3+ Years

    Notice Period: Looking for immediate to 30 days' joiners

    Job Location : Hinjewadi, Pune (Hybrid Work Model)

    Software Requirements:

    • Proficient in Python, PySpark, and SQL
    • Experience in the build and deployment of Big Data applications using Spark SQL and Spark Streaming in Python
    • Familiar with Big Data ecosystems and tools

    Overall Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and maintain Python/PySpark applications
    • Develop efficient and robust ETL workflows
    • Work closely with data analysts and data scientists to implement production-ready solutions
    • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
    • Write clean code to develop functional applications
    • Continually improve and refactor code for enhanced performance and maintainability

    Technical Skills:

    • Python: Expert-level knowledge of Python programming is essential.
    • PySpark: Proficiency in PySpark for processing large amounts of data.
    • SQL: Strong understanding of SQL for database interaction.
    • Big Data: Experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, and HDFS.
    • Spark SQL and Spark Streaming: Expertise in building and deploying Big Data applications using Spark SQL and Spark Streaming in Python.
    • ETL: Experience with ETL tools and procedures.
    • Git: Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
    • Proven experience as a Python/PySpark Developer
    • Experience with Big Data applications and technology is necessary

    Day-to-Day Activities:

    • Develop and maintain Python/PySpark applications
    • Debug and fix issues in the application code
    • Collaborate with the team on application design and decision-making
    • Create ETL workflows to ensure data availability and reliability
    • Attend team meetings and provide updates on project status

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    • Professional certification in Python, PySpark, or related field would be a plus

    Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • Able to work independently and take initiative
