Job Purpose:
The role entails scaling up the 2 wheeler business for the bank by developing compelling value propositions to expand the existing products, channels, segments and customer base by delivering banking needs to the customers in the most cost efficient and technology effective manner.
It also entails establishing a robust interface with key dealers, strategic partners and OEMs and working closely with them to boost volume of business across geographies.
It includes building up teams, systems, process, and culture amenable to the scale and consistency of delivery.Role will closely collaborate with Retail Assets team - Business Heads, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing & Transformation, Policies team, Operations, Credit, Risk and Collections teams and Technology teams for the same.
The role has a P&L responsibility for the 2 wheeler business contributing to the larger organizational objectives of the bank.
This role encapsulates the responsibility of owning the customer journey and experience and charting strategic as well as tactical plans to ensure smooth implementation of organizational strategy and objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead the 2 wheeler business to expand volume of business and profitability of products and portfolio
Guide distribution of 2 wheeler products and portfolio mix ensuring volume scale-up as per the defined targets
Design best-in class products for the 2 wheeler business to ensure IDFC becomes the bank of choice for customers
Partner with the Systems and Training team to ensure adherence to compliance and company guidelines
Build and nurture strategic partnerships across key dealers, manufacturers, Brands, channel/product partners etc. to increase the penetration of entire portfolio
Collaborate with the Technology team to drive system efficiencies and process improvements
Improve the performance & quality of portfolio through regular monitoring
Work with business analytics team to identify potential for 2 wheeler business
Own the Dealer relations and OEM relations exercise and chart standardized process to ensure constructive relationships
Own the negotiations and finalization of Digital partnerships and tie-ups to expand network and volume of business
Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities:
Mentor and coach senior team members to percolate ethos of customer centricity, innovation, compliance and integrity
Build a culture of innovation and excellence to expand scope and scale across products and channels
Create environment for team to focus on automation and digital enablement to fulfil customer's needs holistically
Attract & retain best-in class talent to meet Bank's rapid growth targets
Enable leveraging synergies with the credit, technology, analytics and risk teams to ensure smooth functioning SME lending business.
Education Qualification:
Graduation:
BE/B. Tech/B.Com/B.Sc./BA/BBA/BMS
Post-graduation: MBA (Master in Business Administration) / PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management)
Experience:
10 -18 years of leadership experience in Banking and Lending Business
