Management of CommServe and Media Agent

Good troubleshooting skills for backup and tape library hardware failure

Daily, Weekly & Monthly Backup Report creation

Tape & Disk space management for backup storage

Storage policy creation for FS, Oracle, SQL, Exchange and VMware backups( VSA) & DR

De-Duplication DB management (GDSP & DDB)

Knowledge and hands on with Azure related to Storage and Backup

Secondary Skill
Good Knowledge and experience on
EMC VNX
Ability to troubleshoot with appropriate array/storage unit tools complex database performance issues with demonstrated experience in storage provisioning

Knowledge of Storage Area Networking and associated storage arrays

Provide day-to-day maintenance of data storage environments, including provisioning storage LUNS, network access to the storage via iSCSI/FC

Capacity planning and risk management, and make recommendations for strategic decisions regarding storage capacity and usage.

Regularly collect capacity utilization data from systems/services

Develop and maintain capacity utilization reports, with trend analysis for when capacity thresholds are expected to be reached

Initiate and track requests for provisioning additional capacity as required

Generic
Attending stake holders con-call and on-call support

Good experience of Vendor Management, vendor escalations and vendor service management.

Good exposure to ITIL ( Change management, Problem Management)

Knowledge of ServiceNow tool.
