Job description

The web designer is responsible for designing and implementing the visual elements of websites, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including web developers and graphic designers, to bring creative concepts to life. The web designer should have a strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and web development technologies.

Responsibilities:

Design and Layout:
Create visually appealing and intuitive website layouts.
Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to illustrate design concepts.
Ensure consistency in design elements across all pages of a website.

User Experience (UX):Conduct user research to understand target audience needs and preferences.
Optimize the user journey and interactions for a positive experience.
Implement best practices for usability and accessibility.

Graphic Design:
Design graphics, images, and other visual elements for the website.
Select and manipulate images to enhance the overall design.
Ensure that the visual elements align with the brand identity.

Collaboration:
Work closely with web developers to implement designs into functional websites.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create visually appealing campaigns.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.

Coding and Technical Skills:
Have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and other web development languages.
Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are feasible and can be implemented efficiently.

Testing and Optimization:
Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.
Continuously monitor and optimize the website for performance and user engagement.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a web designer or similar role.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
Should have worked on shopfity, wix, squares pace and Webflow
Understanding of responsive design principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
