Description

As a Public Relations Executive, your role is to develop and implement effective strategies to manage the public image and reputation of the organization you work for.

You will oversee all aspects of public relations, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.

Your responsibilities will include crafting key messages, managing media relationships, coordinating PR campaigns, and maintaining a positive public perception of the organization.

You will work closely with internal teams, executives, media outlets, and the public to ensure consistent messaging and build strong relationships.


Responsibilities:


  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media outlets to secure positive coverage and manage media inquiries effectively.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling communication materials, including press releases, media kits, speeches, articles, blog posts, and social media content, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment.
  • Crisis Management: Develop crisis communication plans, act as the primary spokesperson during crisis situations, and provide timely and accurate information to the media and stakeholders to protect the organization's reputation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify key stakeholders, develop strategies to engage and build positive relationships with them, including customers, partners, employees, industry associations, and the general public.
  • Brand Management: Oversee the organization's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging and visual representation across all communication channels.
  • PR Campaigns: Plan and coordinate PR campaigns and events, such as product launches, corporate announcements, community engagement initiatives, and industry conferences.
  • Media Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, conduct media analysis, and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of PR efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Internal Communication: Develop and implement effective internal communication strategies to engage and inform employees, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Budget Management: Manage the PR budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost control.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience in PR, communications, or a similar role, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling messages for various audiences.
  • Strong media relations experience and a solid network of media contacts.
  • Crisis communication experience and the ability to handle sensitive and highpressure situations.
  • Knowledge of current PR trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in content creation, including writing press releases, articles, and social media posts.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and social media management tools.
  • Analytical skills to measure and evaluate the impact of PR activities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationshipbuilding abilities.
  • Leadership qualities, with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
