Experian is looking for a Product Owner to join our Global Identity and Fraud team, which is a part of our Experian Software Solutions business.

You will work closely with one or more scrum teams to drive product development of best-of-breed solutions that operate behind our award-winning CrossCore platform.

What you'll be doing


As a Product Owner, much of your time will be spent writing requirements, participating in the Agile development ceremonies, leading backlog refinement sessions, helping scrum teams with timely decisions on priorities on day-to-day basis and planning out roadmaps.

More specifically, you'll be working with our Product Managers as well as several internal cross-functional stakeholders to understand opportunities to improve fraud management capabilities and focus on deriving solutions to given business problems.

You'll be responsible for maximizing the value of our identity and fraud solutions through software engineering work.


Your primary responsibilities include:


  • Product Owner for one or more scrum teams
  • Working with the Product Manager to understand the business problem, voice of customer and identify the capabilities to add to the product
  • Produce a healthy backlog by refining prioritized features into user stories
  • Define sprint goals and manage scope and deliverables of a release
  • Define acceptance criteria and drive iteration goals via prioritized stories
  • Lead design deepdives, grooming sessions and coordinate with internal crossfunctional stakeholders on gathering integration and operational requirements
  • Lead preparation of backlog for PI planning sessions and plan roadmaps
  • Accept user stories at the end of sprint and facilitate internal stakeholder communication about project status and releases
  • Review and support product documentation activities

Qualifications What your background looks like**
Essential

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or Product Manager within a Software / Technology context
  • Strong technical expertise and the ability to confidently work with customers and other stakeholders
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment, ideally in software product development, using one or more of the primary Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/XP etc.)
  • Fast learner can quickly get up to speed with complex solutions and knows how to acquire knowledge, able to adapt to changes in a fastpaced
