Title:
Scrum Master, IT-HST**
Location: Bangalore

What you'll be doing

  • Ensures the team(s) achieve their stated objectives by reinforcing SAFe framework and Scrum principles, keeping the team focused on their goals, and facilitating all standard ceremonies
  • Organize and facilitate all scrum related meetings (standups, retrospectives, reviews, demos, etc.).
  • Facilitates getting the work done
  • Work with the team to develop project plans, roadmaps and manage backlog.
  • Communicate team plans, report impediments for escalation, identify risks/concerns to relevant stakeholders to help resolve.
  • Monitor team backlog daily and ensure it accurately reflects the current state of the sprint.
  • Work with product owners and stakeholders to refine vision and establish goals and metrics.
  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and management.
  • Organize and facilitate the product release by following all the governance standards.

What you'll bring

  • Knowledge of welldocumented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling of bugs, etc.)
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and conflict management skills
  • Experience with test driven development and automated testing is desired.
  • Ability to organize and present technical status to senior management
  • Demonstrated success in delivering results on several technical challenges.
  • Passionate about continuous learning, can do attitude, wears Thinkers Hat, can work collaboratively with diverse teams, leverages current technologies, and believes in process simplification, quality conscious.
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and conflict management skills
  • Proactively identifies & removes project obstacles on behalf of the team
  • Shares knowledge, power, and credit, establishing trust, credibility, and goodwill Personal Attributes

Background and/or Experience

  • Bachelors / Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and 7+ years related experience.
  • 4+ years of experience leading both Scrum and Kanban Agile Teams.
  • Knowledge of tools used to assist with scrum team planning (ServiceNow, Jira, Agile Manager, Version1, etc.).
  • First Level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) and/or SAFe Practitioner certification strongly preferred.

Desired Characteristics

  • Understanding of regulated Healthcare industry, FDA design controls requirements is an advantage
  • Previous experience in regulated medical device company
