Description

The person should exhibit leadership qualities and demonstrate business accumen while working closely with business users to understand requirements and help team translate it into technical changes.

Responsibilities:

Gauge the severity, urgency and criticality of production issues and address them as quickly as possible.
Demonstrate analytical capability to perform ticket analysis and resolution & root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors/Master degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent.

Person should have above qualifications and years of experience in relevant disciplines including:

At least 46 years of strong experience in Mainframe tech stack
Hands on experience in COBOL, JCL and CICS.
Handson experience with JOBTRAC or other scheduling tool such as TWS.
Working knowledge DB2 and IMS-DB.
At least 46 years of experience in SQL/DB2 with strong focus on writing/analyzing complex queries.
Handson experience with scheduling tool TWS would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of ITIL practices.
Exceptional problem solving skills with strong programming fundamentals & algorithms (strong analytical skills).

Preferred Qualifications:

Service Now
JAVA
Familiarity with ETL/Informatica
Familiarity with JIRA, BitBucket is a plus

- 'Familiarity with monitoring tools (SumoLogic/Dynatrace)

Knowledge about Cloud Technology and exposure to AWS etc.
