You'll spend time on the following:


  • With your analytical thinking, Integrate Business & Engineering teams and identify gaps in requirement, design, and implementation.
  • You will champion the product domain, landscape, integrations, architecture, and technology stack
  • You will consume frameworks, tools, and technology ecosystem. Heavily contribute to building test assets and improving the test coverage
  • You would champion as an agile QA, into various testing activities, principles, practices & processes starting from inception to production monitoring
  • You would test the product beyond for its functionality as required to observe the behaviour of the product under various circumstances, leading to new findings
  • You will proactively seek out ways to avoid common softwaretesting problems such as test case duplication, flaky tests, and maintainability
  • You would drive the creation of a reliable automated testing suite with strong reporting capabilities that ensures simple, effective analysis of failures for your team to use
  • You would identify and voice out antipatterns in engineering

The outcomes of this role include:

  • The team has test assets that are clear, concise, precise and valuable
  • The team is convinced on your depth and breadth of testing efforts of the product.
  • The team is confident about the testing approach and strategy

To achieve the above, most of the following experience is a must:

  • You have worked as a Quality Engineer as part of a distributed engineering team, collaborating with Engineering, Business, and Infra teams
  • You have championed the quality domain and are proficient in functional, nonfunctional, and exploratory testing technique
  • You have championed the testing domain and applied wisdom to prevent common softwaretesting problems
  • You have collaborated with business and engineering teams to arrive at nonfunctional requirements
  • You have contributed to various layers of the test pyramid
  • You have designed, developed, and evolved scalable test automation frameworks from scratch
  • You have proficiency in automation tools and techniques, including but not limited to Web, Mobile, and APIs
  • You can pick up new tech stack and contribute to developing test assets
  • You have worked with code coverage tools, linting, and static code analysers

Requirements:

Extensive experience in either web, API or mobile automation testing.
Strong object oriented programming fundamentals
Expertise in git
Very good communication skills
Practical knowledge of working in agile workplace
