-About the Role:


As a Publishing Executive at International Academic & Research Consortium (IARC), you will play a crucial role in managing the publishing process of scientific journals and promoting academic research.

You will be responsible for overseeing the publication of peer-reviewed journals across various disciplines, such as Engineering, General Sciences, Medical and Healthcare, Humanities, Social Science, and Management-related fields.

Your primary focus will be to ensure the timely and high-quality dissemination of research findings while adhering to ethical and academic publishing standards.


-Key Responsibilities:

Journal Publication Management:
Manage the end-to-end publication process for the consortium's scientific journals. This includes coordinating with authors, editors, and reviewers to ensure smooth manuscript submission, peer review, and final publication.

Peer Review Process:
Oversee the peer review process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback is provided to authors. Maintain a database of qualified reviewers and actively seek new experts to participate in the review process.

Content Editing and Proofreading:
Review and edit submitted manuscripts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to journal guidelines. Coordinate with authors on necessary revisions and proofread final articles before publication.

Collaborations and Partnerships:
Collaborate with academic institutions, societies, and organisations to organise conferences, seminars, and workshops. Explore opportunities to foster knowledge-sharing and research collaboration.

Promote Scholarly Impact:
Develop strategies to increase the visibility and impact of IARC's journals within the academic and research communities. Implement marketing and outreach initiatives to attract high-quality submissions.

Membership Management:
Manage the membership program, providing support and benefits to academicians and students who are part of IARC. Ensure effective communication and engagement with members.

Quality Assurance:
Uphold ethical publishing practices and maintain the quality and integrity of the published content. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in academic publishing.

Education:

A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as Publishing, Communications, Journalism, or any discipline related to the consortium's focus areas.


Experience:
Prior experience in academic publishing, editorial roles, or scholarly communication is highly desirable. Experience in managing peer-reviewed journals will be an advantage.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with authors, reviewers, and team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.


Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple journals, submissions, and deadlines simultaneously.

Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for content editing, proofreading, and ensuring the accuracy of published materials.

Collaborative Spirit:
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, authors, and external partners to achieve common publishing and research goals.
