- Manage overall performance of the AP process by providing strategic and operational leadership, ensuring effective service delivery, maximum client satisfaction and team management.
- Monitor team performance and report SLAs and KPIs in the area of operations Drive continuous improvement and/or re-engineering projects to assure progressive service levels and lower costs.
- Actively engage with AP team leads & key managers to ensure customer satisfaction & address their pain points
- Represent the process in company and governance meetings and with business verticals.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with vertical CFOs and key Managers.
- Manage escalated issues and provide final approval within team
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all items processed in the system
- Ensure effective people management and development, including: staffing & selection, integration of new staff to teams, facilitating technical/ functional training, measuring individual and team performance, providing feedback and managing people issues
- Carry out periodical performance reviews of team members and address non performance issues Ensure adherence to all statutory and legal requirements and keep updated with latest developments
- Experience in setting up AP shared service Centre & process transition
- Strong understanding of leading practices and SAP
- experience of taxation processes
- Experience in Shared Services/ BPO would be an added advantage
- Knowledge of manufacturing industries (steel, cement, energy and ports)
- Chartered Accountant or MBA from a premier B-School with relevant experience
