    Description

    Purpose of the Role

    To explore new business opportunities in terms of new markets | products and develop & sustain current contribution levels by devising | modifying suitable marketing & business development strategies and ensure sales to meet business objectives.

    Responsibilities in the Role – Technical & Commercial expertise, Product Management, Marketing, Business Development. Paper Technologist preferred with experience of handling both International & Domestic Sales & Marketing.

    The activities performed by the incumbent include:

    Expertise in Paper manufacturing

    Process knowledge of manufacture pulp from raw material like Hard wood, non woody based fibers, and secondary fibers.

    Experience of handling Paper chemicals used in section like Pulp Mill, Paper M/c

    Knowledge of design and process operation of Paper machine/ Pulp mill and soda recovery.

    Experience of quality and production requirements of paper machine.

    Knowledge of operating all sections of Paper & Board making Wet end, Dry end and coating section.

    Knowledge of converting and finishing section of paper mill

    Exposure in recycle based/wastepaper -based paper mills using DIP etc.

    Knowledge of chemicals used for making of paper & board in all section Wet end/ sizing/Coating.

    Knowledge of handling paper testing equipment and paper properties.

    Knowledge of performing lab testing for checking all incoming chemicals and raw material in Paper.

    Knowledge of Microsoft excel, power point and – Excellent communications and presentation skills.

    Sales and Marketing Exposure

    Knowledge of sales and marketing of Paper chemicals

    Exposure in Paper chemical Companies and marketing of Paper chemicals PAN-India

    Handling of Distribution Channels / Corporate customers

    Handling Technical Trials at Paper mills

    Exposure on new product development – based on market requirements / customer need.

    Exposure to New product introduction / Branding / Promotional material / Presentations etc

    Preparation of Reference Case Studies, Studying competition products, benchmarking

    Customer service, selling, negotiating, and influencing, analysis and decision-making, and management skills.

    Ensuring Collection of Payments in Timely manner

    Educational Qualification | Experience (in years) | Exposure Required:

    1. (Chemical) with 10-15 years of experience in sales & marketing, product development, product promotion initiatives of OBA (Optical Brightening Agents).
    • University degree paper technology / chemical engineering
    • addition, MBA (Marketing) qualified candidate will be preferred.
