    Company Description: Liquid Trees specializes in utilizing diatoms for capturing atmospheric carbon naturally, focusing on purifying freshwater systems by leveraging native microalgae and diatoms that absorb CO2 through photosynthesis. The company is primarily dedicated to:

    • Carbon Capture: providing a natural solution for trapping atmospheric carbon

    Water bioremediation: dealing with removing pollutants from water bodies

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in organizing experimental data and establishing standardized frameworks for reports
    • Build a library for microscopy images and ensure efficient online storage in OneDrive
    • Perform biological analyses in the laboratory, including biomass dry cell weight determination, spectrophotometric analysis, cell counting, and water chemical analysis
    • Collaborate with the team to develop methods for assessing diatom biomass quantification

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or related fields
    • Theoretical and practical knowledge of microalgae
    • Experience in biomass dry cell weight determination, spectrophotometric analysis, cell counting, and water chemical analysis
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with OneDrive and OneNote
    • Knowledge of statistical analysis software (R-studio, Python) is a plus
    • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
    • Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and proactive task approach
