Description
Manages day to day business of the operations / production department while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as looking at Production Batches, Inventory Management, Stock Verification, Managing Vendors / Suppliers, observing Supply Chain Management and calculate risk factors.
- Works with production team to help to set and meet daily, weekly & monthly goals.
- Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, remove barriers, resolve issues from the plant and escalate to Management as & when required.
- Works closely with management team to ensure all operational and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance to regulatorybased best practices.
- Worked as a company's representative on regulatory issues.
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, prepare and complete action plans, implement production, productivity, quality and customerservice standards, resolve problems, complete audits, identify trends.
- Production & Purchase planning with respective departments.
- Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements.
- Develop, Implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures, develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping.
- Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace.
- Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance and serving as primary liaison with utilities and local government agencies such as fire, police, health and safety agencies.
- Work closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data and reduce subrental expenses.
- Oversees operational systems, processes and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of continuous improvement & revision.
- Should play a significant role in longterm planning, project status reporting and implementing change.
- Completes reasonability of production and information validation prior to circulating findings and recommendations to Management.
- Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and providing strategic solutions.
- Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed
