    Description

    Job Description :


    8+ years of IT experience and minimum 2 years of experience on Azure VMware Solution and 4+ years of experience on VMware vSphere, Azure cloud services deployments, and cloud migrations.


    Responsibilities :

    • You will partner with Architects and service delivery teams to plan and implement infrastructure deployments and migrations for large enterprise customers, moving customers from onpremises VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution.
    • You will work directly with customer application, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to define requirements for successful deployment & migrations.
    • Maintain knowledge of the latest on Azure/AVS and VMware products in order to deploy and migrate services as per industry best practices.
    • Share knowledge with others through technical documents, and internal Candidate Competencies:
    • Relevant experience in implementing and migrating data center and cloud infrastructures using VMware and Microsoft technologies.
    • Knowledge and implementation experience on VMware's Core Cloud Infrastructure
    VMware vSphere 6.0 and above.

    • VMware NSX-T network virtualization technologies.
    • NSX edge services (DNS, DHCP, Gateway Firewall, Distributed Firewall)
    • NSX implementation
    • NSX migration from vlan or NSXv
    • VMware vSAN
    • VMware HCX Advanced & Enterprise
    • VMware Site Recovery Manager & vSphere Replication.
    • VMware management suite (vCD, vROps, vRNI, vRLI)
    • Experience with onpremisestoCloud or cloudtocloud migrations with VMware HCX
    • Experience with relevant Azure technologies like:
    • Azure ExpressRoute and Azure VPN
    • Azure Virtual WAN and Azure Route Server
    • Azure networking.
    • Azure Disk Pools and Azure NetApp Files
    • Azure Monitoring and Security technologies (Monitor, Arc, Security Center)
    • 3rd party network virtual appliances (firewalls, loadbalancers, routers) for Azure and VMware environments.
    • Strong understanding of concepts including hardware platform, hypervisor, Networking, security, data protection, high availability, monitoring & alerting, patching etc.
    • Familiarity with security & compliance standards across a variety of enterprise IT landscapes.
    • Experience with Azure Hosting or Infrastructure background and public cloud highly desired.
    • A good understanding of datacenter networking fabric topologies and common architectures deployed, both Layer 2 and Layer 3 based is highly desired.
    • Strong communication skills.
    Education Qualifications

    • BS or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or technologyfocused discipline or equivalent experience
    • VCTA, VCP-DCV certification is preferred but not required.
    • CCNP, VCP-NV certification is preferred but not required.

    Desired Qualifications :

    • Experience working with enterprise customers on Azure specific solutions and deployment.
    • Excellent customer service skills, good oral and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations involving the most critical and politically charged customer situations, to lead projects and to motivate others."
