9 + years minimum of Tableau experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableaudriven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
Working knowledge of Tableau desktop and creating interactive dashboards
Handson experience in finetuning the reports and understanding the business needs to build robust dashboards
Experience in Tableau Cloud and migrating from Onprem to Cloud will be a huge plus
Experience and understanding of Tableau Architecture is a huge plus
Degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
A solid understanding of SQL, rational databases, and normalization.
Assist in developing, designing, testing, and implementing Business Intelligence solutions using Snowflake/Tableau.
Strong SQL language is preferred
Tableau Reporting Skills is must and server knowledge is plus
The engineer will collaborate with team members to resolve issues to assure the successful delivery of BI/DW solutions.
Deploy new functionality and migrate content between environments as required.
Document business processes, solutions, and knowledge articles.
Document standard operating procedures.
Provide production support, including complex troubleshooting and triage.
Drive and lead the conversation with the business stakeholders
Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, snowflakes, conformed dimensions, Slowly Changing Dimension Types, etc.
Developing professional expertise applies company policies and procedures to resolve various issues.
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of various factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

Participate in reviews with business users and SMEs
Contribute to ETL architecture and high level design
Contribute to plans and documentation as needed Create data models for ODS, EDW and Data Marts Review ETL specs created by ETL Leads against the data model finalized
Perform source system analysis and lead the ETL design Develop and unit test complex ETL Code Coordinate and provide bug fix support during QA and UAT.
