Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Merchandiser to join our têxtile manufacturing factory.

In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Merchandiser, assisting them with various tasks and responsibilities related to merchandising operations.

The Junior Merchandiser will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth workflow and coordination within the merchandising department.


As a Junior Merchandiser, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Merchandiser in managing the production process, monitoring orders, and maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the têxtile industry and develop a strong foundation in merchandising operations.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Senior Merchandiser to execute merchandising strategies and achieve production goals.
  • Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders, sales orders, and production plans.
  • Monitor and track order progress, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any potential issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, factories, and logistics teams to ensure smooth production and delivery schedules.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to maintain product standards and address any quality concerns.
  • Assist in analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Support the Senior Merchandiser in preparing and updating product catalogs, price lists, and other marketing materials.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams, such as design, production, and sales, to ensure alignment and timely execution of merchandising activities.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, sharing insights and suggestions to optimize processes and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies relevant to the têxtile manufacturing sector.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Textile Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a merchandising role within the têxtile industry is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of têxtile manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fastpaced production environment.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think analytically.
  • Familiarity with market trends and customer preferences in the têxtile industry is a plus.

Reporting:
The Junior Merchandiser will report directly to the Senior Merchandiser and will be guided and supervised by them. Regular reporting of work progress, updates, and challenges will be expected.


Salary:
₹12, ₹15,000.00 per month
