JobOverview: The Education Counselor serves as a guide andmentor to prospective and current students providing them with thenecessary resources and advice to succeed in their academicjourney. This role involves understanding individual student needsoffering guidance on program selection and supporting studentsthrough the admissions process and their educational careers. Thegoal is to facilitate a supportive constructive and ethicaleducational environment and to ensure students make informeddecisions about their academicpaths.

KeyResponsibilities:

1. StudentCounseling:
   • Conductoneonone counseling sessions to understand student aspirationsstrengths and limitations.
     
   • Provideinformation about the institutions academic programs admissionprocedures and financial aidopportunities.
     
   • Assist students insetting realistic academic and career goals and developing a planto achievethem.
     
2. AdmissionsSupport:
   • Guidestudents through the application and enrollmentprocess.
     
   • Review student applicationsconduct interviews and provide recommendations on admissiondecisions.
     
3. ProgramPromotion:
   • Participatein educational fairs school visits and other promotional events torepresent the institution and itsprograms.
     
   • Develop and maintainrelationships with high schools educational partners and othercommunityorganizations.
     
4. ResourceCoordination:
   • Coordinatewith faculty financial aid and administrative staff to ensurestudents receive comprehensivesupport.
     
   • Provide or direct studentsto academic resources tutoring services or personal counselingservices asneeded.
     
5. RecordMaintenance:
   • Maintainaccurate and confidential studentrecords.
     
   • Track student progress andprovide reports and statistics to school management asrequired.
     

Requirements

EssentialQualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education Counseling Psychology or related field; aMaster s degree ispreferred.
  
• Provenexperience as an Education Counselor or in a similarrole.
  
• Strongunderstanding of the education system academic programs and careerpaths.

Essential Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma orequivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or related field is aplus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in using billing and inventory management systems.Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment and technology.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy. Ability to work ina fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Sales-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
