Project Description**:
You'll be working with colleagues based across the region in at least three distinct locations.
We work as a team together with the aspiration to provide trusted IT services and project support to the bank to support the ambitious growth plans.
As a Data Architect, you'll play an important role in making sure we achieve both business and technology objectivesResponsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into data architecture requirements within the banking domain.
- Design and implement data models, develop Data attribute maps, database schemas, and data integration strategies that comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive banking data.
- Implement data security measures and access controls to protect against unauthorized access and mitigate potential risks.
- Leverage AWS services such as Amazon Redshift, Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, and AWS Glue to build scalable and costeffective data solutions.
- Lead efforts to migrate onpremises banking data systems to AWS cloud infrastructure while ensuring mínimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including software engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to deliver integrated banking solutions.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in both banking and cloud computing to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Must have
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in the banking industry, with a deep understanding of banking systems and processes.
- Handson experience with AWS cloud services, particularly those relevant to data architecture such as Amazon Redshift, Amazon RDS, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda.
- Technology Agnostic approach as the bank has a multitude of data source systems and API gateways
- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements such as GDPR, PII protection frameworks, PCI DSS.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty) are highly desirable.
