UX Designer

3DEXCITE is are looking for a strongly motivated UX Designers to Define and deliver the User Experience specifications, ensuring an inclusive adoption by targeted users on any device, starting with Phones, Tablets and Desktop. You will work closely with worldwide 3DEXCITE R&D teams to realize UX design.
This position is in Bangalore India and you will be working closely with 3DEXCITE team members from other geos

Role & Responsibilities

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary User Experience (UX) Design team responsible for all aspects of UX and usability for 3DEXCITE Applications.

[IMAGINE]

Assess the User Experience landscape for the App: competition, usages, technology, standards & trends
Define target audience
Capture Users goals, needs, tasks & expectations
Define strategic use cases of targeted Apps
Learn about current Users & Usages with User Experience Scientist

[CREATE]

Define App User Experience:

Design Information architecture, User interactions & User Interface for target Use Case
Ensure consistency with 3DEXPERIENCE platform User Experience Fundamentals in the same app, across apps of the same role, in closely related roles and crossbrand.
Interlock with User Experience Architects to ensure global consistency.

[PRODUCE]

Deploy the defined User Experience and ensure its implementation in close relationship with App / Service / technology managers and software engineers.

[USE]

Assess the User Experience excellence for each target use case:

Capture Users feedbacks (quantitative / qualitative), with User Experience Scientists
Measure User Experience Excellence
User Satisfaction
Productivity
Effectiveness (Error Rate & Completion Rate)
Identify friction points and define TO BE experiences to address them.
Evaluate the performance of defined User Experience through quantitative & qualitative assessment, with User Experience Scientist

Comply with related R&D processes & Meet the Key Activity & Performance Indicators.

Role Profile

User Oriented, Empathic, Ability to "think like a user"
High multidisciplinary experience incorporating aspects of industrial design, graphic design, cognitive science, computer science, software architecture, psychology, sociology.
Strong app design background (User Experience & User Interface).
Passionate for design, User experience instinct & common sense on software ergonomics.
Aware of the latest UX innovations and trends.

Qualifications/Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as User Experience Design, or a related area such as Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, or Multimedia Design
Sketch and express ideas quickly and fluidly
Create wireframes and other UI concept prototypes
Discuss design ideas and design rationale, both orally and in writing
Conduct usability tests and other forms of user research and feedback
