Description

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software developers to grasp code changes and identify testable components for unit testing.


Demonstrate proven experience as a Developer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a dedicated focus on unit testing.

Ensure adherence to coding standards in JavaScript, Java, Python, C#, etc.

Design, implement, and maintain unit tests for various frameworks such as Jest, JUnit, PyTest, etc.

Possess a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Work alongside QA engineers to integrate unit tests into the overall testing strategy, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance unit testing processes and methodologies.

Analyze test results and collaborate with development teams to investigate and address code-level defects.

Utilize excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex software issues and identify root causes.

Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Maintain meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to code quality, delivering high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.


Understand various code coverage metrics for the project and proficiently document and share unit test reports with the team and project management.

Efficiently manage escalations and handle multiple assignments while meeting delivery dates.

Utilize experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, QTest).

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in unit testing and software development.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.


Pay:
₹40, ₹80,000.00 per month
