Job Description
Developer/Data Visualization Expert

The Job:


As a
Data Visualization Expert will be part of the team that builds clients digitalization and bridge between the local analytics operations and the Central Analytics CoE.

The person will support the analytics team in implementing the visualisation solutions and will support in the development of customizable visualisation solutions aligned to the global REP Product Strategy.

The person will also be aware of the development roadmaps on the central organization, providing inputs and feedback for the PMs.


Following will be the main responsibilities:

Job responsibilities

  • Understand internally the clients Digital Platform, the clients cloud platform, and understand about the internal databases systems.
  • Support the analytics team in development and implementation visualisation solutions appealing to users
  • Combining the data result sets across multiple sources, transforming, improving and integrating data, depending on the business requirements
  • Work with central analytics team and stakeholders to understand the business and data needs.
  • Identify critical data elements, and develop the frontend dashboards

Requirements:


Educational background

  • University degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Degree), Data Science or equivalent

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, preferably in the field of Data Engineering and Visualisation
  • Experience
working with analytics teams in support them in creating the visualisation solutions

  • Has a demonstrable understanding of how to expose data from systems (for example, through APIs), link data from multiple systems and deliver visualization solutions.
  • Understands different visualization tools and experience in developing frontend visualization solutions is good.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
  • Fluent in written and oral English.
  • Ability to work in crossfunctional and international networks.
  • Ability to inspire and influence people.

Skills Needed

  • Visualisation + Software skill
  • Experience
in developing frontend (User Experience (portal), Java script, HTML)

  • Experience
in backend development (Java, C#, Python, SQL)

  • Data integration from several legacy and other Data bases
  • Basic understanding of Machine learning and AI
