Responsibility:

Design
- â-a Guide team in preparation of technical specification document and review the same.
- â-a Break down the base lines requirements into business and functional requirements.
- â-a Provide support in development of Proof of Concept Identify tools and technologies to be used in the project as well as reusable objects that could be customized for the project.
- â-a Leverage product specified services / frameworks without impacts to version changes.
- â-a Share the design document with the functional team post supervisor review.
- â-a Understand performance implications and design for scalability.
- â-a Adept at design as per latest methodologies adopted (Agile).

  • Coding.
- â-a Guide team in coding as per design.
- â-a Follow coding standards and cloud products / platform best practices in development.
- â-a Prepare guidelines and checklists (coding checklist, performance checklist, deployment checklist etc) for development and testing activities â-a Update the performance, development and coding checklist/(s).
- â-a Share developed code with supervisor for review.
- â-a Rework on the code based on inputs if required.
- â-a Perform complex cross module / product / cloud integrations as per standards.
- â-a Ensure completeness in test scenario preparation with functional teams.
- â-a Guide the developers in identifying, preparing and conducting unit test cases and fixing defects based on results.
- â-a Identify components for performance testing.
- â-a Consolidate the test results and share with supervisor.
- â-a Provide periodic status update to supervisor and highlight / recommend any changes in design based on challenges faced.
- â-a Update traceability matrix for the work package developed.
- â-a Anticipate unreported defects and raise the same to supervisor.
- â-a Conduct technical troubleshooting.
- â-a Conduct reviews for codes created by team.
- â-a Provide support for process audit services.

  • Testing.
- â-a Coordinate with QA team during the testing phase.
- â-a Leverage tools / products for test data preparation.
- â-a Support all upstream and downstream systems for integration and connectivity testing.
- â-a Address queries raised by QA within defined timelines.
- â-a Understand impacts of product version upgrades on developed code for SAAS products.
- â-a Conduct functional / non functional testing if required.
- â-a Fix complex defects identified during functional / non functional testing.
- â-a Understand the defect impact / criticality and handle accordingly.
- â-a Raise issues to leads/QA.
- â-a Report defect status as per project standard process within agreed timelines.
- â-a Review defect fixes done by team guide them.
- â-a Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- â-a Fix defects identified during UAT within agreed timelines.
- â-a Share revised code with supervisor for review.
- â-a Assist team lead and project manager on estimates around defect fixes.

  • Deployment Support and Closure.
- â-a Conduct allocated transition tasks as per agreed timelines.
- â-a Address queries / provide assistance in fixing issues during warranty period.
- â-a Provide prompt response during production support.
- â-a Fix defects as and when required.

  • Review defect fixes.
- â-a Maintain code versions, dependency lists & deployment tracker.
- â-a Perform sanity check post deployment to ensure smooth production Coordinate with cloud product administrators for cloud migration as needed.
- â-a Share activity status with supervisor and highlight concerns if any.

  • Service Support and Maintenance Release Management.
- â-a Participate in scoping meetings and identify transition requirements for new projects.
- â-a Reconfirm requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- â-a Freeze SME calendar.

  • Provide transition activities.
- â-a Regularly track progress of transitions through weekly dashboards.
- â-a Attend user calls, and capture required information and incident details for logging.
- â-a Post information gathering, identify whether the incoming request is a service request or an incident.
- â-a Determine urgency and impact of the situation.
- â-a Assign appropriate priority to the incident.
- â-a Assign the incident to the right stakeholder for a workaround/fix.
- â-a Conduct analysis on various incidents that occur frequently.
- â-a Categorize recurring incidents as problems/known errors.
- â-a Provide support to resolve these errors.
- â-a Initiate change management process.
- â-a Analyze and prepare releases based on business process dependencies.
- â-a Enable sprint test cycles and deployment for release management.
