Operating a machine to perform various tasks such as drilling holes, cutting materials, or shaping products, Monitoring equipment operation and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance, Setting up workpieces on the machine, Inspecting finished products for defects or errors, such as scratches or dents in metal surfaces or burrs on cut edges.
Following procedures for setup, operation, and cleanup of machines to ensure efficient production, Reading blueprints or other instructions to determine how to adjust the machine to meet specifications, Using hand tools such as saws and drills to cut materials manually, Operating computerized controls to set parameters for machining operations such as cutting speed, feed rate, and tool selectionJob Types:
