Splunk Architect

Experience: 10+ years.

  • Strong experience on Architecting Splunk Enterprise deployment, clustering (singlesite, multisite), data onboarding and replication, clustering
(single-site or multi-site) configuration, reporting, visualizations, field extractions, creating knowledge objects, and Common Information Model

(CIM)

  • Designed and Implemented SmartStore to achieve storage cost optimization
  • Excellent Splunk Administrator knowledge
  • Excellent Syslog Administration knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of Splunk architecture onpremise as well as cloud (AWS) system environments
  • Designed and Implemented Workload Management for Resource Optimization.
  • Approximately 10+ years of experience in an engineering or development role. Approximately 4+ years of experience in Splunk and Syslog
  • Advanced experience in Troubleshooting Splunk (Level 3/ Level4), Infrastructure, Universal Forwarder, Splunk Core, Dashboards/Search issues
  • Excellent Splunk Software development experience with Python
  • Deep knowledge in Splunk Dashboard development
  • Rest API Architecture knowledge desirable
  • Strong MS Azure knowledge
  • Able to exhibit a progression of increasingly complex job responsibilities during the period inclusive of project management skills and
engineering remediation techniques and planning.

  • Working in a virtual team spanning multiple continents and time zones is required
  • Strong Exposure to Splunk Security/ SIEM
  • Exposure to SOAR
  • Strong Knowledge on Splunk ITSI and experience in setting up Service intelligence and associated predictive analytics
  • Tested the architected / build solutions and options to understand the impact, feasibility, and advantages
  • Experience in Creation of the design for the ELK production instance
  • Should have good knowledge on IADs (Infrastructure Architecture Diagrams) for ELK PROD

Certification Requirements:

  • Splunk Architect certification Must
  • Splunk Administrator certification Must
  • Any MS/Cloud certifications are beneficial
