    Description
  • Implement the strategic Public Policy Advocacy plans and oversee the engagement objectives to develop and maintain productive relations with policymakers, trade associations, and identified critical stakeholders to support and further the business goals.
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and policy developments impacting the logistics sector, analyze their potential impact on the business, and guide the strategy to mitigate risks or capitalize on opportunities
  • Applying specialist knowledge in developing advocacy campaigns and lobbying efforts to advance the company's policy objectives, including drafting policy papers, participating in industry associations, and engaging in public hearings and consultations
  • Leverage existing and build new relationships with key government departments/ officials, trade bodies, industry associations, PSUs across our BUs.
  • Work with the Central and regional leadership team creating opportunities for engagement with Trade Associations.
  • Identify and curate an engagement plan for various major Industry and Regulatory events and ensure befitting execution.
  • Guide the public policy advocacy mandate ensuring congruence to business objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute the activities of the public affairs team in the areas of message development, issue management, influencer engagement and policy formulation & communication.
  • Coordinate major strategic projects/partnerships being executed in close collaboration with the trade bodies and associations.

    • Ensure that the company's CSR & Sustainability initiatives receive appropriate visibility in government, public forums, and the media, including social media.
