The Chemicals, Materials & Nutrition (CMN) Practice helps these companies navigate this evolving environment and achieve sustainable growth by providing research and consulting in a number of dynamic sectors represented by our program areas.


Overview:

The Research Analyst is an established market analyst with high ownership of work and end-to-end fulfilment of Growth partnership service deliverable projects.

As well as leading Growth Opportunity Analytics project fulfilment, there will be increasing involvement in Frost Radars and interactive Growth Opportunity Analytics deliverables such as client presentations, Analyst Briefingss, Mover & Shaker interviews etc., as well as research involvement in CSDs and Growth Advisory projects.

The main objective is to increase market sector expertise and client interaction with a focus on analysing markets and identifying growth opportunities.


Responsibilities:


  • Domain Expertise
  • Become a thought leader in the team, delivering value via strategic research, client engagement, global press, and social media outreach.


  • Business Development

  • Maintain business relationships with global technology vendors by regularly participating in briefings and working under the guidance of program/practice area leader to conduct business needs analysis for Frost & Sullivan clients.
  • Create reports and contribute to consulting projects related to C.A.S.E. (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants & Elastomers), and Construction Materials.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research. Interact with executives from corporates, government & public sector enterprises, and other specialists in the ecosystem to understand and analyze market trends and conduct a minimum of 10 successful detailed primary interactions per report. Willingness to work across different time zones (North America, Asia Pacific & Europe).
  • Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded
  • Develop excellent quality content
  • Work with a global team of experts to create a powerful customer experience

Strategic Contribution

Qualifications:

  • 13 years of analyst/consulting working experience within a Chemicals & Materials and preferably C.A.S.E. research and/or advisory services business environment.
  • The ability to research and write a coherent story on C.A.S.E. topics in grammatically correct English is critical.
  • A foundational understanding of consulting/research/investigative journalism methodologies and business modelling (primary/secondary research, linear story development).
  • A foundational understanding of the C.A.S.E. industry, such as industry structure, operational practices, business functionalities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Desire, curiosity, and enthusiasm to build your expertise in the Chemicals & Materials domain to become a respected thought leader in the eyes of global technology vendors.
  • The ability to network to create new client relationships and to proactively manage ongoing relationships to stay relevant to the clients.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting business development initiatives that benefit the entire team.
  • An analytical thought process, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills and business level fluency in English.
  • The desire to continuously learn and improve on public presentation skills in front of an audience and a video camera.
  • Confidence to present your work to a group of peers or a client and defend your analysis in a calm and professional manner.
