Description

Job Title:
Security Architect

Key responsibilities will be to participate in development, configuration, deployment, and management of security systems to protect both desktops and server systems.

Will proactively identify threats and vulnerabilities while maintaining industry best practices; participate in the review and resolution of opportunities from both internal and external IT security audits; provide recommendations to the overall IT security posture of the organization through the use of industry best practices and industry models; and participate in the creation of IT security awareness communications to the organization that adhere to corporate safety and security regulations.

Responsibilities:

Develop, deploy and implement industry best standard security solutions.
Provide information security management services to business clients; troubleshoot and resolve risks, threats and vulnerabilities in security
Create awareness on security issues and protocols among the personnel.
Create and set up information security policies and security procedures.
Provide sign off to all security policies, processes, procedures and tools implemented.
Reevaluate security operations in place and implement and/or replace security operational procedures, policies process and tools when necessary.
Perform, review and evaluate security audits on a periodic basis as defined by the company
Provide consulting and architectural services to clients as per the requirements.
Identify, analyze, and address security and compliance gaps in the environment.
Timely response and resolution of incidents, service requests and escalations.
Participate in the creation and set up corporate security policies for both physical & virtual access, including security procedures that should be followed to keep the external and internal networks secure.
Evaluate current security operations in place and recommend changes to be implemented and/or replaced.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Security or a related field.
6+ years of total working experience in IT Security.
35 years of experience in Security operations.
Handson experience in any SIEM implementation, including installation, configuration of detection rules, integration of log sources, and automated response orchestration.
Experience in design and implementation of other security solutions.
Working experience in Security Operations Center, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Protection, Data Loss Prevention and security incident response.
Preferable to have CISSP or equivalent certification.
Demonstrated history of providing excellent response to security threats
Excellent analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and communication skills
Ability to work on 24X7 security operations environment.
