    Description

    Job Summary:
    This is a contractual job for a period of 1 year and extendable


    As a Junior Data Scientist specializing in predictive analysis, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to derive insights, build predictive models, and contribute to data-driven decision-making.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and a passion for solving complex problems through data-driven approaches.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Data Analysis:

    • Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand patterns, trends, and anomalies in datasets.
    • Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data for predictive modelling.

    Predictive Modelling:

    • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms for predictive analysis.
    • Build and train models using statistical techniques and machine learning frameworks.
    • Evaluate model performance and iteratively improve accuracy.

    Feature Engineering:

    • Identify relevant features and variables for predictive modelling.
    • Engineer new features to enhance model performance.

    Data Visualization:

    • Create visualizations to communicate insights and model outcomes effectively.
    • Present findings to both technical and nontechnical Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
    • Work closely with domain experts to understand business needs and translate them into data science Document methodologies, data sources, and model specifications.
    • Maintain clear and organized documentation for reproducibility.

    Continuous Learning:

    • Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
    • Engage in professional development to enhance skills and Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
    • Experience with machine learning libraries/frameworks (e.g., scikitlearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
    • Strong statistical analysis skills and knowledge of predictive and classification modelling techniques.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
