As a Packing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective packing operations of our company.

You will be responsible for supervising the packing team, managing packing processes, and ensuring that products are packed accurately, securely, and in a timely manner.

Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and organizational abilities will contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

Supervision:
Oversee the packing team's daily activities, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure a smooth workflow.

Process Management:
Develop and implement packing processes that optimize efficiency while maintaining product quality and safety standards.

Quality Control:
Monitor the quality of packed products to ensure they meet company standards and customer expectations. Address any quality issues promptly.

Inventory Management:
Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock levels for packing materials and supplies. Initiate reordering as necessary.

Training:
Train new packing team members on proper packing procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards. Provide ongoing training to improve team skills and performance.

Scheduling:

Create and manage work schedules for the packing team to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods and meet production targets.

Equipment Maintenance:

Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure that packing machinery and equipment are properly maintained and promptly repaired if issues arise.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of packed products, quantities, and any issues encountered during the packing process. Generate reports as needed.

Health and Safety:
Enforce safety regulations and best practices to create a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety training sessions.

Communication:
Foster open communication within the packing team and with other departments, such as production, quality control, and logistics.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement in the packing operations. Implement changes to achieve these goals.

Problem Solving:
Address any packing-related problems or issues that arise during operations, working to find solutions quickly and effectively.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or courses in logistics, supply chain, or management are a plus.

Proven experience (3 years) in a packing supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution setting.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, other departments, and external partners.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.

Proficiency in using computer software for data entry, reporting, and communication.

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Salary:
₹20, ₹27,000.00 per month
